Course Description

The Tahbilk Vineyard Scramble is approximately 200 metres of hard running on tired legs where the winner takes all on a prize of $500 cash. Yes, it's a dash for cash race and it's only on offer for those who have entered one of the other races and limited to 20 places. All participants will start on in line with each other and the winner will be the first one to collect the prize at the other end.

By Laws:

  • The winner will be the first one to pick up and hold the prize above their head with two hands
  • Wrestling / fighting over the prize whilst entertaining is not allowed
  • In the event of multiple participants claiming the prize the judges will decide who the winner is or whether the prize should be split

The Official Race T-Shirt

The first 100 registered athletes will score themselves a free Nokkon Four Vines race t-shirt. If you don't get to register first, you can also order your own t-shirt!

Nokkon are known for their stunning designs and quality gear within the Melbourne running community and will be producing a high quality range of merchandise for Four Vines.

Nokkon will reveal the t-shirt design in September. Nokkon are also the generous sponsors of the Half Marathon event.

Collecting race bibs and gift bags

Information on how to collect race bibs will be emailed to participants closer to the event.

Course Measurements

The courses have been measured multiple times be various GPS systems, mapping technology and by bike. With our event plan it's basically impossible to get lost on the course!

After Party

Join us from 6pm Sunday 4 November at the Royal Mail Hotel in Nagambie for 5 hours of entertainment. You won't go hungry, drink on arrival and live bands until 11pm. Plus if you're staying in the Nagambie area, a shuttle bus will ensure you get home safely. Tickets are limited and can be booked with your race entry.

Prizes and Age Categories

As well as one awesome medal, if you're quick enough there's a few other prizes on offer!

Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall for both Male and Female runners.

* Half Marathon, 10km, 5km only. No category prizes for the 2km Kids Run.

Winners must be present for the presentation in order to receive their prizes.

Preferred Starts

If you can run fast then its a good idea to position yourself at the start of the start line so that you can get away sooner.


Carparking is available at Tahbilk. You will be directed to the appropriate carpark by volunteers, please follow their instructions. As the driveway into Tahbilk crosses the race courses you may be stopped by our marshalls. Please allow plenty of time to park and be ready for your race.
Exiting the carpark will be via the Nagambie exits.

Changing events

You may change events via the Active portal, please log in with the details you entered with to manage your registration. There is a $10 fee to change events.

Transferring entries

On your Active portal you may transfer your registration to another athlete. Please log in with the details you entered with to manage your registration. There is a $10 fee to transfer entries.

Withdrawing and refunds

There are no refunds given on registrations. If you cannot run, try and sell it to another runner, and refer to the section above about Transferring Entries.

During the event you may withdraw at any aid station. A bus will trail marathon and half marathon event to assist you back to the event site.
