The Shepparton Travel & Cruise Marathon is the premier Four Vines event - the longest and also the only course that fits in all four wineries plus a horse stud.
Marathoners will gather at Tahbilk from 5:30am to 6:00am for bus transport to the start line at Fowles Wines in Avenal to start their mammoth 42km journey back to Tahbilk. Avenal is renowned for its Ned Kelly history and Hughes Creek that you run parallel to is where Ned was the hero is rescuing a child. Then after that he began his criminal career.
The first 13km is mostly on road before venturing into the beautiful blooming vineyard at Box Grove Vineyard and winding under the Goulburn Valley Highway at Hughes Creek. A short steep rise and all the climbing will be done, and a flat road run into Swettenham Stud and a loop through Mitchelton Wines - that's your third winery. Now it's time to high tail it back along flat roads back in to Tahbilk, with a finish next the ever green vines next to the Orchards.

The first 100 registered athletes will score themselves a free Nokkon Four Vines race t-shirt. If you don't get to register first, you can also order your own t-shirt!
Nokkon are known for their stunning designs and quality gear within the Melbourne running community and will be producing a high quality range of merchandise for Four Vines.
Nokkon will reveal the t-shirt design in June. Nokkon are also the generous sponsors of the Half Marathon event.
Race bibs will be posted out on 1 October 2018 to all Victorian based participants who have registered prior to 15 September 2018.
Participants who register from 16 September 2018 onwards will need to collect their race bibs on Saturday 3 November between 10:00am and 5:00pm at Tahbilk Winery.
The courses have been measured multiple times be various GPS systems, mapping technology and by bike. With our event plan it's basically impossible to get lost on the course!
Join us from 6pm Sunday 4 November at the Royal Mail Hotel in Nagambie for 5 hours of entertainment. You won't go hungry, drink on arrival and live bands until 11pm. Plus if you're staying in the Nagambie area, a shuttle bus will ensure you get home safely. Tickets are limited and can be booked with your race entry.

Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall for both Male and Female runners. Trophies will also be awarded to the 1st Male and 1st Female in each of the following age categories: Junior U18*, 18-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, and 60years+
* Half Marathon, 10km, 5km only. No category prizes for the 2km Kids Run.
Winners must be present for the presentation in order to receive their prizes.
If you can run fast then its a good idea to position yourself at the start of the start line so that you can get away sooner.
Carparking is available at Tahbilk. You will be directed to the appropriate carpark by volunteers, please follow their instructions. As the driveway into Tahbilk crosses the race courses you may be stopped by our marshalls. Please allow plenty of time to park and be ready for your race.
Exiting the carpark will be via the Nagambie exits.
You may change events via the Active portal, please log in with the details you entered with to manage your registration. There is a $10 fee to change events.
On your Active portal you may transfer your registration to another athlete. Please log in with the details you entered with to manage your registration. There is a $10 fee to transfer entries.
There are no refunds given on registrations. If you cannot run, try and sell it to another runner, and refer to the section above about Transferring Entries.
During the event you may withdraw at any aid station. A bus will trail marathon and half marathon event to assist you back to the event site.
